Usage

Rybelsus contains the active substance semaglutide and is used to lower blood sugar (glucose) in adults with type 2 diabetes. Rybelsus is used on its own if the blood sugar level is not properly controlled by diet and exercise alone and the patient cannot use Metformin. Rybelsus is used in combination with one or more other medicines for diabetes when they are not enough to control your blood sugar levels. Rybelsus contains the same the same medication as Ozempic, but can be taken orally. Semaglutide belongs to a class of medicines called GLP-1 receptor agonists (glucagon-likepeptide-1 receptor agonists). It is the first oral and first glucagon-like peptide (GLP-1). GLP-1 drugs are non-insulin treatments for people with type 2 diabetes. Rybelsus helps the body make more insulin when your blood sugar is high. Take Rybelsus tablet on an empty stomach as directed by your doctor. After taking the tablet, wait at least 30 minutes before you have your first meal or drink of the day or taking other oral medicines.

Who makes the brand Rybelsus?

The brand Rybelsus is manufactured by Novo Nordisk.

How does Rybelsus work?

According to webmd.com, Rybelsus works by causing insulin release in response to high blood sugar (such as after a meal) and decreasing the amount of sugar your liver makes.

What is the difference between Rybelsus 3 mg and 14 mg?

The difference in dosage represents the amount of active ingredient(s) present in the drug.

Are you selling Ozempic?

Unfortunately, we do not carry Ozempic. Like other injectable drugs, Ozempic is highly sensitive to high and low temperatures.

Can you take two 7 mg tablets of Rybelsus if your doctor prescribes Rybelsus 14 mg?

No, this is not recommended. If you are prescribed 14 mg per day, you should take one 14 mg tablet per day. Always follow the prescription and instructions from your physician or healthcare provider.
